Biography

Fashion Studies programs are designed to anticipate changes in a dynamic field that values technology and tradition while providing for, and shaping, the needs of contemporary consumers. The Fashion Studies Department, within the School of Fine and Performing Arts, offers four programs that offer you flexibility in learning both design and commerce. You can earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Business or Fashion Design, pursue the more immersive Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, or add to a design-based curriculum with a Fashion Business Minor. Because fashion is a global and dynamic industry, we offer opportunities to study fashion in the field, nationally and internationally. Fashion Studies students can major in Fashion Business, Fashion Design or a combination of the two.
