Description

An editorial cartoon by John R. Fishetti for the Chicago Daily News illustrating in the first panel a man in a headscarf holding a rifle and grenades with "Syria" inscribed on his clothes; he holds out his gun and is defending a sign behind him reading, "Lebanon," and asks "Halt! - who goes there?" ahead of him. The response is "Friend." In the second panel, the man with the gun labeled "Syria" begins throwing his grenades and shooting is gun towards the voice who had answered "Friend".
