Biography

The Dance Department, within the School of Fine and Performing Arts, is home of one of the nation’s largest programs devoted to the study of contemporary dance. Dedicated to preparing students to perform, choreograph or teach, they are engaged in a comprehensive, highly disciplined, and exciting program of physical and intellectual study and creative endeavor. The Department offers both a Bachelor of Arts and a more intensive Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as well as a minor in Dance.
