Biography

The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago is comprised of two integrated components: The Academic Program and Public Programming.

The Academic Program is Chicago’s only complete instructional program leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. Public Programming at the Dance Center is Chicago’s leading presenter of contemporary dance of national and international significance, augmented by an extensive educational and community outreach program. The integration of these programs provides Dance Center students with opportunities to interact and learn from visiting guest artists, and provides opportunities for the involvement of thousands of Chicago-area residents in Dance Center activities.
