Clyde Caswell Collection, 1909-1963
Clyde Martin Caswell was a radio pioneer in the 1940s and 1950s whose on-air name was Jim Christie. He also served as the head of the Columbia College Radio Department and later, as Dean of Students at the college. The collection strength lies in its radio recordings from the time period. The collection dates span from the late 1940s to the late 1950s and measures 4 cubic feet. Caswell died in 1958 in Evanston, Illinois.
Columbia Chronicle, 1965-present
The Columbia Chronicle is the student newspaper of Columbia College Chicago. The content of this publication was originally combined with the Alumni newsletters, but beginning in the 1970s, it became an independent source. This collection consists entirely of the student newspapers published by the College.

Sherwood Community Music School Collection, 1875-2011
The Sherwood Community Music School at Columbia College Chicago began as the Sherwood Music School in 1895 and was a degree-granting institution for musicians, a hub for the students of music distance education, and a community music school offering lessons and programs for musicians of all ages. The collection strength lies in its institutional records of the Sherwood Music School from 1906 to 2011; the entire collection dates from 1875 to 2011 in 46.0 cubic feet (58 boxes).
